When September ends.
And it's already the last week of September 2011.
Stepping into the third last month of the year,
I had finally graduated as a Third Sergeant on 23rd Sept '11 with my friends,
be it those from Foundation who I finally met after they got posted out,
or those who chiong sua-ed with me for the past three months in Pro Term and in Taiwan.
Officially a Third Sergeant now.
Got posted to 2SIR while most of the rest will be going to BMTC.
Some will be staying as Faculty Team, some got better postings such as admin spec, NCC, and some who are worse will be trainees again as they get posted to recce battalion.
Well this kinda sucks as I am never someone who likes changes.
Especially drastic changes in short period of time.
Not that I cannot adapt, but that I prefer not to do so in a new environment.
Still unknown of what challenges wait ahead of me,
but nothing I can do as we are all required to report to our new camps on Monday.
No choice now, just suck thumb.
That's just another valuable but retarded lesson learnt by many of us in army.
And for the next fourteen months,
somehow I think they will just past by quickly.
Perhaps even faster than the last eight months.
One third through my NS life,
and it's just a year and two months left.
I will just wait and see what can I make out of that fourteen months remaining.
But I just know that by 9 Dec '12, I will be free again and
I be I won't need half as long the time to adapt to life as a civilian again
compared to the time I usually take to adapt to different army life.
Still a long long way to go.
But at least we had come so far already.
Good luck to my friends, for the memories, the friendship, the fun joy laughter and everything you guys had brought to me for the past eight months.
Probably won't have much chances to see any of you from now on, but I believe that we will all do well.
BMT friends are the first we meet in army, and people say that after much training and stuff, the friends you made in the short 9 weeks might just soon be forgotten.
But from BMT to SCS Foundation, I think I might have just come across a few friends who I'll always remember in my heart.
Still a long long way to go.
But I'll try my best to hang in there until the end.
Byeall.
