Tough times don't last, tough men do.

An overused phrase which still hold its meaning.

The past week had been tough too.
I wonder if it's me that's just too weak or what.
Had my com broke down first two weeks ago, which felt so damn long already,
everything gone with my thumbdrive missing somewhere too.
Then booked out Sat morning last week and slept the whole Sat away.
The whole of Saturday.
Morning 9plus to 6pm.
Didn't get to watch Harry Potter due to unforeseen circumstances.
Sorta wasted my Sunday too except for going out with my family.
Didn't do shit at all.
The past few bookouts was practically just resting and doing nothing because my com don't even feel like my com anymore.
Almost got confined just 'cause I was the LPS during standby-area.
Two days of outfield, 12km Route March under hot sun followed by river crossing, and then navex wasn't exactly easy at all.
All in all it was tough physically but tougher mentally.

And then what's worse is that Grandslam is tomorrow.
It's like the real shit's just beginning from here onwards.
Grandslam, Starlight, 32km march.
The last three greatest obstacles between me and the three chevrons.
Really really big obstacles.

And that's why tough times don't last, tough men do.
It's just this week, three more weeks, and two days.
What are these when we've already gone through so much and so far to where we are now.

In the end, we will all still do it.

And enough of army shit.
Finally went out yesterday to our 23/09 class outing.
Been kinda long since the last one, where most of the rest still had hair.
That was just after our POP in April, we weren't even SCTs yet.
And after so long we went to iluma to have ramen for dinner.
Not too bad I guess.
Then went drinking at some nearby place Kenneo brought us to.
Stayed there for quite a while before leaving at almost 12.
Took 12 home with some of the others living in the east.
Long ride home but chatted quite a bit.

Slept quite late but used to it anyway.
Woke up early morning today to play ball.
And ended up there's only five of us, the rest all still sleeping or too tired to come.
It was still fun anyway and good exercise for us.
May not be that good for someone going for field camp tomorrow but anyways it was fun.
Wonder if we still can continue playing like this all the way.
Or perhaps we will just somehow stop and hopefully continue after all of us ORD.
And then there's uni too.
Can't wait for uni when the girls are like getting busier and busier preparing for school again.

Well gonna have lunch and then a good rest.
Probably booking in real early today to prepare for Grandslam and at the same time,
enjoy a little bit of quality time alone with my myself and I in camp.

Byeall.
