Week 0: Arts O Week; Week 1: Lectures and nothing else.

And I didn't even managed/bother to blog until the first week of school is ending.

Well the main things so far is just that Arts O Week had been awesome, and school, had been school.
Alright, not so much, but it's just lectures and more lectures so far.

Shall now try to recall whatever has happened for O Week in an attempt to record every little thing down here.

So on the very first day for O Week, Dad fetched Terry and me to Kent Ridge Terminal, the meeting point told to us.
Somewhat surprisingly, we were the first to reach hahah.
Then we were led to AS 1 for registration and got separated from there on to our OGs.
Met my OGLs for the first time and just had random chats and chill until more people started coming in.
Played some games, learnt some cheers, before we were brought to LT 11 for sort of a welcome and introduction session to O Week.
After which was lunch break then started station games, I think?
So station games all the way till evening, dinner, then blah blah blah and it was time for CSI Night.

Basically fright night made to fit the theme of "Conspirartsy" of Arts O Week.
Well other than not being scary at all, pretty much nothing.

Walked kinda far just to get to the starting point, then into AS 4, up to the top floor where we were fed chicken liver or something like that, had to dig for a key in a pile of disgusting juices and stuff which were told to us as organs of a corpse, and which the key I never did found, down again and to decode some words behind a toy baby which we didn't succeed in doing before the dead mum climbed down the stairs for the baby.

Then finally the last station with the fortune teller in which we talked for quite a while before this person come up from behind to scare us, probably the only moment which gave us a little shock.
I was the first pair, with Xueting, so we came back like way early and just chill around and started playing games when more people were back.

Finally got to retrieve our bags and go to our sleeping area, shower and stuff.

Waited for supper, talked for quite a while too, before we finally get to sleep at 4plus.
Was a really long day but more or less an enjoyable one I guess.

Second day was pretty much station games too, wet and dirty games to be more specific.
Then again, we didn't get really wet or dirty, didn't go to the mega water slide station as well so I guess we were lucky.
Expected worse so it turned out still alright.
Was too slow 'cause I was more focused on the module bidding and ended up walking alone to TH to shower sigh.
And my slippers had to break halfway leaving me walking barefooted to TH alone to shower.
Somehow I brought twine and Swiss Army Knife with me, which came along handy when I used them to fix my slippers hahahah. Still feeling quite proud of myself for fixing my slippers and keeping everything under control at that time.
Alright so it's dinner after that and then RAG performance.
Did a lot of waiting in between here and there, played some games as usual.
Got to sleep earlier since it's beach day the following day.

So it's beach day and it's only the third day of O Week but it felt like forever already.
Woke up early morning and went to Sentosa with OG then got settled down there.
Waited quite a while for the other houses and we finally got started off for the games!

Well don't know what went wrong but no matter how hard we tried, we just seem to lose at every game.
Still, thanks to my 汉堡王 cheer we were collecting power-ups like nobody's business.
And no, don't ask about 汉堡王, seriously I don't really know why Chan Yu chose me to lead the cheer but I guess I turned out to be pretty good at it.
Sometimes there are things that I know I can do, but just needed the extra push and a little bit of motivation.
Chan Yu was really a good OGL but I guess I'll leave it for later.
So moving on, we finally completed all the stations and had some time to chill for a while.
After that was inter-house games followed by tug-of-war.
And even though we cheered like mad and supported our house out loud, we still didn't manage to win in any of the three categories for tug-of-war.
So we went back to Vivo after that and had dinner in OG level and more interaction time between ourselves to get to know each other better.
Went back to school at 9plus? Washed up, then chatted a bit, etc etc, had supper before going to sleep.
Ohya had briefing for Artsventure Race which is on the next day too.
Had some time together with the section we were going to go with, which consist of people from all four houses.
Thought that my section was just pretty normal until the funny China guy came along, then everything changed...

Woke up super early to gather at the Canopy for pre-brief for Adventure Race.

No one was there except for our OG!
And people only started coming in later and it was later later later before OComm started asking us to line up in our sections.

So we formed up and our section, Section 8, happened to sit damn near the stage.
After the brief, they held a quiz to determine the first set of sections to set off.
And thanks to our advantageous location, we managed to submit our answers the fastest and were able to set off in the earliest group.
Okay so we all agreed to be chill and relax and basically just lepak throughout the day, and so our Adventure Race begins...

It began with a freakin' long bus ride to St Pat, and when we finally alighted, two or three other sections were together with us as well, with I think one or two much much ahead of us.

First station was climbing the stairs.
So obviously we climbed up then took lift down since we just wanted to chill.
Then we had to complete the fitness corner's facilities and we were set to move.
Crossed the overhead bridge to ECP and it was a station of luck.
Had to draw the cards and if we weren't able to draw the one which allow us to move on, we had to do some sort of forfeit.
Spent quite some time before we got to move on.
And so continued our relaxing day.
And similar to our OG, we didn't really chiong, win, or did very well for the stations or stuff, but managed to gain power-ups, in this case, time deductions, through our cheer.
But then again, we cheered at such a low level of volume that I don't even understand why did the OCommers still gave us time deduction.
It was still pretty fun though, and was a really good day spent with some good people.
Even though we only met for a day I guess we did well enough together as a section, and as a result, gotten Second for Adventure Race and won ourselves Gavio portable chargers! :D
Just exactly what I needed!
The results weren't announced until the finale though, but all the while we were just hoping and sort of expecting ourselves to be top 3 with all the time deductions we gotten, especially from the PD Nick as well as Daryl.

Got back to school, then washed up and got changed to smart casual for clubbing night.
Had a lot of waiting to do as well, after dinner, before we were finally transported to Zouk.
First time clubbing, but not exactly clubbing as well since it was a controlled environment and we had little drinking since S House was aiming to be the first to get back so as to get as much rest as possible.
So the next few hours were just spent in getting 自high and at 2.45am, all of us withdrew quickly and waited for the bus to come.
By 3plus we were back in school, washing up and preparing to sleep.
I went for supper with Amirul and Zai and by the time we got back at 4plus, almost everyone was sound asleep and I went to sleep too after a while.
We had until 10am so it was a really really good night sleep, if not for the rain in the early morning which woke me up badly since I was sleeping very near to the outside.
Slowly shifted in bit by bit as I was trying to get back to sleep as well.
Finally woke up at 10, washed up and got ready to move off.

More station games and this time we finally went on a roll as we won three in a row before losing the final one.
Almost spoiled the first game though since it was pretty flawed and I wanted to win, well, we enjoyed, had fun, and still win nonetheless so I guess there was no problem there.
Just felt a little guilty to the OCommer hahah.
After all the games was the final war game, water balloon war.
So the House ICs were standing on top of the table with the target, and we were all supposed to protect the target while at the same time attack other houses.
Well, our house fell pretty quickly since we were in a really good position to win the Best House and everyone turned their aim at us the moment the game began.
Soon the other two houses fell as well and the game ended.
The OCommer then announced the finale and how the quote of the O Week, "The enemy is within", actually meant when they summoned all the OGLs and councillors to join them as they held up a target three times as big as the ones the House ICs held.

Of course they still fell pretty quickly with all the freshies attacking them at the same time.
So we had fun and we then moved on to wash up in preparation for Social Night.

Social Night was held at Kent Ridge Guild House which was a really atas place and consisted of three portions, buffet dinner, chill-out, and games. Or something like that.
So we proceeded on to some sort of bar there and had Don't Forget The Lyrics, most people were really just chilling and doing nothing much though, and really really looking forward to the dinner instead.
Then after that, we moved on to this room in which there were many many rows of four chairs placed facing each other.
So the three girls sat in a group while me and Siva sat in another.

The event person came to switch us over before the start though, to ensure that every group of four chairs consisted of two guys and two girls.
So this is actually some sort of speed dating thingy which we spend 10minutes getting to know everyone in the group before one or some of the people are selected to move on to the next group.
Did it for a few times before we finally get to move on to the highlight, buffet dinner!
And after hearing from our friends on how good the dinner is, and how long we starved, we were really really looking forward to it.
And indeed it was very good, so it was just eating and chilling before we started roaming around awaiting the announcement to head back.
Headed back soon after, washed up, talked for a while before going to sleep and preparing for Flag Day the next day.

It all seemed so long but it all seemed so fast too, and O Week have sort of ended, only with Flag and Rag Day remaining.
So we were just so lucky to be flagging in the East, and in Tampines somemore, sigh really so tempted to just come home but didn't.
Flagged for half a day before heading back at 2plus and had dinner soon after reaching.
Then it was finally the finale for O Week, but we had quite a few talks before that.
So all the prizes were announced and stuff, and our OG won the Best OG!
Really didn't expect that we can do it on the first day, but I guess throughout the camp we really bonded and tried hard enough and did whatever we could.
Sadly, we didn't manage to win the Best House..

After that, we had some House time followed by OG time at the Canopy.
Wrote messages for each other on a piece of paper and it carried on till 1plus 2am.
Attempted to order supper through usual shop but failed, and McDonald's doesn't deliver to us either.

Ended up had to trouble our OGLs to travel out to buy prata for us while we walked to UTown to shower and to sleep.
Showered and chill a bit at Aaron's room with the guys, while the girls went to shower at a higher level with Josephine, the seniors all went Stephen Riady to shower if I'm not wrong and after quite some time and a little bit of miscommunication, all of us met back at Stephen Riady Centre and prepared to sleep/eat supper.
Supper arrived just in time and most of us ate a bit I believe, before some of us went to sleep quickly after and the rest of us continued to stay up to chat and stuff.
Managed to stay awake chatting until around almost 8 before sleeping for about an hour then waking up again.
Went to the Rag area to watch the performance before some of us broke off to chill at Tembusu's lounge since the weather was hot and we couldn't really see shit.
As for me, I went around and had a mini 2SIR gathering since Steven, Jun Cen and Jia Wei came to visit, along with a few others who're in NUS as well.

Also met CK and Gordon as I continued to roam around a bit.

It was finally Arts Rag's turn and we cheered for what I believe will be the last time in a long time to come, before we got to disperse and went back to get our stuff.

Now that is a really troubling moment for me as I had to think of the way home sigh.
And somehow no one stays in the East so it was me alone.
Hung around long enough until most people left and the remaining few wanted to get lunch so I joined them, since by the time I get home it will probably be dinner time and I will be starving if I don't eat then.
Went for Hwang's and then finally got to Kent Ridge Terminal to take my Bus 10 home.
A super duper long bus ride, just good for me to sleep throughout before finally reaching Tampines Interchange and taking 28 home.
Reached home finally at 6plus and there concludes my wonderful Arts O Week experience.
I believe that even after such a long lengthy post, it wasn't enough to summarize or express how awesome it was, not just because I finally get to go to a camp as a participant again instead of conducting one, but also because of how great it was conducted and how good our OGLs were.

Okay actually I'm quite tired and gotta wake up tomorrow for driving then to buy laptop then back to school for finally checking in to CAPT then to aikido welcome tea so it's gonna be a pretty long day ahead and maybe I should sleep soon.
My body clock seemed to be adjusting back to normal ever since O Week ended and that's probably a good thing. (:
Not sure how it will go when I finally move in though... with most of my lessons only starting at 12pm.

Anyways, school is good so far.
Went for five lectures and one junior seminar so far and didn't really learn anything.
Dropped my MA1100 too to take Social Work instead, where I can receive help and resources from friends.
Got allocated GEM1910 Pursuit of Happiness for my junior seminar in UTown and I'll say I gotta have to work a lot harder from now on if I don't want to fail it sigh.
And I don't even know anyone from CAPT since I missed the orientation and fledgling week this week zzz life's gotta be so sad and lonely when I move in next week.

Ohh and I realized I didn't blog about it, but, I received the email from CAPT stating that I'm accepted on the night before O Week and got offered the room on UHMS yesterday so yeah I'm finally checking in tomorrow and moving in this weekend. (:
Things do work out eventually!
Just gotta hold firm to that belief while trying my best all the time and things will be fine and life will be good~

Alright whatever it is, shall go and sleep now.
Somehow I feel freakin' disorganized and that's making me not feel like doing anything zzzZ.
Gotta get myself more organized and to do that, I need some time alone.
Guess tomorrow night will be good to list down every single thing I have to do and to find some new methods to keep myself organized.
And also, to get to know about my new laptop better. (:

Rising.

Sighhh it's already 30th July.
Possibly the last time I'm blogging for this month, or the second last.

Wonder if it's because I'm slightly more free now or what, but I'm blogging a lil more as compared to a while back.

Interview with CAPT this afternoon was alright I guess....
Took me few hours just for the travelling, although I did reach freakin' early and had to wait more than half an hour.
Really hope it's not a wasted trip.
Going into an interview with two guys from Law, one from VJ and one from AC certainly isn't really helping though...
Well I can only hope and pray hard now, and hold on to the belief that things will work out eventually.
Being given this chance for the interview is already good enough I guess.

Driving tomorrow afternoon.
Sigh still can screw up quite a bit, especially in circuit.
Only a month more to the test, and don't even know how many more sessions will I get after tomorrow.
The least I can hope for is to be able to drive smoothly along the roads, and continue to improve by leaps and bounds for circuit.
Terry's driving test is tomorrow though; so all the best to him there.

O Week starting on this Thursday.
Feeling a bit weird since it's been quite a while since I went for camps without knowing the program, or rather, went for camp as a participant.
At least that's what I remembered.
And what a long camp it's gonna be, 7 days lasting from 1st to 7th August.
And the feeling of being unprepared is starting to kick in.
Hate this feeling whenever I go camps or have to attend certain things.

Getting freakin' hungry now, at this time. Sigh.
And gonna sleep soon already too.

Well, hope everything goes well for everyone. (:

"人生本来就有很多事是徒劳无功的啊。"

Had been wanting to catch 那些年,我們一起追的女孩 in Singapore but never had the chance.
And I'm really really glad that I was just so fortunate enough to be in Taiwan for training when the movie screened.
First and only time so far to be watching a movie alone; furthermore it's overseas in a place I've never been to.

And it was definitely worth it. Definitely.

Now almost two years later, I'm in my room sitting in front of the computer typing, just after I finally watched the movie for a second time.
There are some movies that still touch you no matter when or how many times you watched it.
This is one of them.

For it's more than just a movie.

It's his youth, his life, and sadly, also partly his regrets.

Had been wanting to watch it for the past two years, and somehow it is only till just now that I really take the time and started playing the show.
And there's no stopping to it once I pressed play.
Wanted to skip certain parts initially, but ended up finishing the whole movie just because of how wonderful it is.

My youth is now.
And before it is over in a few years' time, before I have to move on with life as with everyone else, now is the moment that I remind and tell myself, that I better go out there and do something great, and do something memorable, to remind myself that I didn't waste my youth.

Now on another note, to continue from my last post, I'll first quote one of the last few sentences I blogged, "Well, should get to bed soon and prepare for a good day later on."

And a good day it was.
Aside from the bad weather, the day was really pretty perfect, or as close as it can get.
Scout meeting, chill out a little bit, went for DPC gathering afterwards, chill around and chit-chat before heading home around 11plus.

Received both a smail and an email.
Smail containing the postcard, which finally got here.
And email from CAPT inviting me down for an interview on Monday.
Seems like my hope of having an accommodation for Uni is revived once more.
And all of these really made my day so much.

And although good things come to those who wait go out there and do shit, some things cannot be forced, but will still have a chance of happening if you just wish for it strongly enough.
Sometimes negative thoughts just make everything spiral downwards, yet strong optimism and beliefs that things will work out eventually will lead you to where you need to be.

Well, everyday we learn something new; yet it's not everything we learnt that is necessary in our lives.
But we still go on, we still learn, we still do certain things, we still have to carry on living our lives.

After all, while we will all eventually reach our finishing point in death, it is what we do between the starting and finishing point that define our lives, ourselves, and the stories we have to tell.

Days gone.

Days just past by so quickly.

Went to eat and then back home after meeting last Friday.

Played ball on Saturday morning.

And the week basically just went by as usual.
Finally completed Season 5 of Criminal Minds.
Now it's 3 more seasons to go before Season 9 airs in September.

Probably won't be able to finish them all in time, with O Week coming up and school start right after.

And myself only left with less than a week to all of that.

End of a busy July leading up to the start of something new and unfamiliar.

Probably going meeting for the last time tomorrow.
Won't know how my schedule will be until early August; but whatever it is, I probably can't afford to spend the time on Scouts as much anymore.

Hopefully I'll really be able to get some good mods to start with.
A good beginning is really important.

I wonder what will be the typical time I'll be sleeping at in the future.
With myself probably having to travel everyday to and fro, I'll have to sleep early, definitely much much earlier than the average time I sleep at now, once any lectures start at 12pm or earlier.

Unfortunately, that apply to almost every lecture I think.

Well, should get to bed soon and prepare for a good day later on.
Don't know if I'll play ball this weekend or not, but I should be playing less as time goes by.
Well, that will really depends though.
Can't say anything for sure as of now still.

But this weekend and the days leading up to O Week shall be spent meaningfully and wisely.
Same for the long weekend just before school really starts.

Not just yet.

Sleeping so damn late again for no freakin' reason.
Sigh this is really bad.

Not like I'm exactly doing anything about it though...

Scouts' meeting later on again.
Possibly one of the last few meetings I'll be able to attend.
Yet I can't really see what I can do to make my presence affect the meeting overall positively.
Or that I just can't be bothered to try doing anything at this point.

Played ball on Tuesday again, the so-called last ball session.
Well of course not exactly the last, but probably one of the last few with the same group of people together.
Although majority of the people are all going to NUS, I believe everyone will be so occupied with their own things to be able to ball again together frequently.

Went over to meet Chandan they all for dinner right after that.
Been a while since we met up, especially with GY who's still in army.
Ate at Five Star Hainanese Chicken Rice under Chandan's recommendation, then walked to Udders for dessert after that.
A really fulfilling dinner and meetup session with the rest.

Went for meeting on Wednesday too, didn't really do much.
Don't see how much more things I can do unless we really take over the meeting.

Too many things we had to settle within ourselves too.

And it's not really about admin bullshit or what, it's just people not being able to make the right decisions and having the balls to take up responsibility they are supposed to take.

Nothing much happening now is really encouraging me in doing anything.
I don't even know what else am I supposed to do if I just want to help in all I can in my own capacity.
Sighhhhhh....

Woke up freakin' early again on Thursday morning for driving.
Second time going circuit.
Well, nothing much to talk about for this.
Hopefully I'll get to have sufficient lessons before the test so I will be able to clear it first time.

Got back home at around 10, together with Terry, after waiting for him for around an hour after my circuit ended.
Slept all the way till 2plus.
Spent the day away on computer once again.
But it's just another one of the days where even though I feel like I'm wasting time away and that I can possibly invest the time in more meaningful activities, I just don't have any motivation to do anything, at all.
Kinda screwed up.

Meeting again tomorrow.
JC class outing at night, but if it's only the same few people and it's gonna be so far away, don't know if I should go and join them or not.
Probably doesn't really matter at all if I turn up or not.
Shall see how things go tomorrow first then.

I really should start sleeping early.
And also do more meaningful things with my time.

Swollen index finger.

Finally finished 'working' last Tuesday after my last invigilation duty.
Met Teck Li in the afternoon for a long due lunch.

Same old Scouts' meeting on both Wednesday and Friday.

Still remember what my ex-PL told me when I just got promoted to a PL myself in Sec 3; he said something like, while we still have the fire to push us on to become the PLC in Sec 3, eventually we will just do what we got to do due to the commitment and responsibility we got to have as a PL.
Isn't it the same now that we are leaders?

When there are so many obstacles and restrictions all around, no matter how hard you try, how much effort you put in, how great the fire in your heart used to burn; some day you will just get tired of trying so hard, you will run out of effort, and your fire dies down slowly, being put out by anything and everything that has been stopping you from doing what you are doing.

What keeps us going on is all that matters.
And that is what we have to find out.

Played ball last Thursday.
Then again on Saturday.
And once more just yesterday.
Probably playing again tomorrow.
That's three times in four days and soon to be four times in six days.

Had driving yesterday morning too; first time going into circuit.

And I wonder how many more sessions of practice do I need to be proficient enough to pass the test that is just one and a half month away.
Add one month of school in that, and I probably only have about two weeks to hopefully become somewhat good enough and the remaining few weeks of scarce practice and revision before the test itself.

Really really really hope to be able to clear this in just one go.

Also, I finally found out the singer of the new version of 细水长流.
Heard it two weeks ago on 93.3FM and had been trying to find out who sang it ever since.
Seemed like that was the first time it was aired over the radio too.
Turns out to be one of the songs included in the OST of "That Girl In Pinafore".
Didn't give too much notice to this movie, but it might just turn out to be a pretty good movie worth catching in the theatres.
Ohh, and 细水长流 is sang by this person, Naomi Yeo.
Somehow I just really like her version of the song; just too bad I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Internet (for free), and I hardly think that I'm gonna buy the OST just for the songs either.

Well hopefully I'll just be able to somehow get the song, and also catch the movie when it comes out in August.

Two more weeks.

Priorities.

Had wanted to blog since few days back; yet it is only now that I am really typing and posting here.

And just after I typed the first sentence of this post, I left for the TV until now.
Talk about priorities.
And priorities was exactly what I wanted to bring up in this post before I got started.

Many a times I would definitely have liked to post much more, be it about my boring mundane life, or the infrequent, out of the blue random encounters, or perhaps just about anything that comes off my head at the moment I'm typing here.
And the simple reason to me not doing so, is simply because that it's not important.
It's something I can live without.

It's just something that's not of the top priority at the moment, at any moment.

Taking some time off my life, to type a few words, to record down bits and pieces of what happened in the past few days; to me these are more of things that I would do, if I have the time to spare.
And even if I do have spare time, blogging is still not something which appears on top of the list of things to do.

Then why do I do so?
Why do I convince myself to blog every now and then and how do I convince myself?

Well, you live life in the present, but at all times your life actually consist of both the past and the future as well.

While you may not see doing something now being worthy of your time and effort, ultimately it might just prove to be worth it in the future.
It's just like how hard work must be consistently put in in order for you to reap the rewards in time to come.
And when you get to enjoy the reward of your hard work, you never forget the amount of work you had to put in in the past for it to happen.

While blogging does not seem like much now, other than being a simple way of recording my life, ranting and complaining about various matters and stuff, eventually I will learn to appreciate the fact that I took time to take all these down and come to cherish the memories I had in the past and see how far I've come and how much I've grown.

With that in mind, while blogging may never be the top of my priorities at any point of time, I can be sure that it will not be left off the list anytime as well.

Now with all that off my mind, I shall continue with whatever's happened for the past week up till now.
I guess I can say that I was really kinda busy for the past one week, instead of just being lazy to blog.

Went down for meeting on Wednesday, the first in a long while due to June Hols.
Ohh and of course, there were all the invigilation duties at MJC as well on the few days of last week.
That had sort of kept me occupied for much of the time, due to the large amount of rest time I had to have for each time I'm down for duty.
And finally, tomorrow, will be my last duty.
After being so lucky all the while to not have any classroom duties to give out and collect papers, I just have to get a duty like that for my final one. Sigh.
Don't know if it's unlucky or what.
But anyways it's the last one, I guess I'll just have to get it done and over with.
It is, after all, some easy money to make.

Thanks to that though, and Scout meetings, I haven't had the time to do much of any other things.
The pace of me watching Criminal Minds even slowed down tremendously.
Although you can always squeeze some time out of nowhere if you are willing to do so, I simply could not see the need to do so for anything at all.

I think I can hardly say the same in the future though, with my life probably getting more hectic than now.

Still, nothing is impossible and you just have to make an effort and have the right attitude.
After all, busy is just a state of mind.

Well, except when you really sacrifice your sleep and still do not have time to do what you need to do.
Then maybe you have to find out what are the things that you want to do and what are the things that you really need to do and lastly, the things that you really really really really must do.

Played ball yesterday morning, with just a few others, under the burning hot sun at Kembangan CC.
Finally had RW's dinner for us at Pepperoni Pizzaria's Frankel branch.
Walked all the way to i12 Katong after that in an attempt to meet Chandan after his camp finally ended.
But walked the wrong way thanks to wrong directions given and an assumption that we didn't have to check the map to know where we are going.
Still, we finally met up around 11pm at a bar opposite i12 Katong.
Had some beer and a short chat before heading home.

Driving lesson this morning, gonna have the next one on Wednesday morning.
Time to really chiong my driving because the test's in end-August, and I have yet to enter circuit...
Hopefully I can make it somehow and get my license on the first try.
Went to Fengshan to visit Denie and the rest since it's on the way, played two games and sat down to watch other people play until evening.
Finally got home at 6plus after that.

Last invigilation duty tomorrow, then finally meeting Teck Li after that.
It's been a while, a really really long long while.
But it's alright.
Tomorrow shall be a good day and hopefully this week's gonna be a good week too.

Tick the checklist.

Haven't blogged for a week already! :O

And the first half of year 2013 had already came to an end! :S

Entering the second half of the year, I really wonder how life is gonna be like a month from now sighhhhhh.

Blogging and browsing tumblr and doing random stuff all at the same time now.

Anyways it's been a while so let's just first try to note down what had happened for the past week that had kept me so busy or lazy from blogging at all.

Although for a huge part I just couldn't really remember what I did at all.

Probably spent the few weekdays at home doing nothing, watching Criminal Minds and stuff.
Now at Season 5, probably won't be able to finish it before school starts.
And after school starts I wonder how long will I take to reach Season 8.
Well it's probably fine to take my time for now and slowly catch up until just nice when Season 9 kicks off.

Ohh and I just remembered, played ball after driving last Tuesday.
Been a while since the previous time I played ball, and the haze was just subsiding a little after a short rain in the afternoon.

Went for a jog on Thursday too, haze already coming back though and I could really feel it while running.
And I guess I have no choice but to accept the fact that I'm damn unfit now, clocking a really bad timing, having not run for damn damn long before that day.

Was really really tired after the run, even though it should have been a very much manageable run especially when I was still in army sigh.

Can't even do as many pull-ups as before too.
Gotta train up again to keep myself fit.
Still remember how I used to think 5, 8 years from now how weak/fat or whatever I would be since I would probably not have the time or motivation to exercise or keep fit or what.
Really don't wanna see that becoming a reality man.
So I gotta do something about it. Now.

Anyways, the weekend was pretty busy for myself too.

Went all the way to utown early morning on Satruday with Terry to register for Arts O Week.
Got a shock when their Facebook page shows that there are an estimated number of 110 freshman queuing up as early as 8.35am.
Fortunately, most of them are girls and with the quota in place to maintain the male/female ratio, it doesn't really affect us since there were only like 20 guys signed up by like 10plus.
Reached at 11plus 'cause Dad fetched us; could've reached much later because Terry only ended work at 10.30am but luckily Dad offered us a ride there.

Got there, queued for quite a while before having our turn and I was still only the 50th guy to register for it.
Had lunch at koufu and only got home at like 2plus 3.
Damnnnnnnnnnnn far and considering that I have yet to secure an accommodation there, this will be the amount of time I gonna spend travelling daily from August onwards. ):

Only rested for a while at home before heading out again for Jansen's birthday.
Sighhh first was travelling all the way to NUS in the morning, then it's all the way to Tiong Bahru at the evening.
Although I only had two events for the day, the locations really kinda screwed my day up and took up all my time.
Well, still, I guess it was two trips worth taking anyways.

Then on Sunday it was balling session again.

Raining in the morning and the court was flooded with people as well.
Didn't get to play much but we only stopped like around 1plus 2.
Had lunch and finally got back home at like 4.

Got out again after dinner at home and watching Running Man for leaders' meeting at 201 Macs.
Spent quite some time there discussing and stuff, also to catch up with Nazri for a bit after his surprise appearance.
Got home just before 12 and slept kinda late again after deciding not to watch the Confederations Cup finals.

Woke up and realized Spain got owned by Brazil.
Sigh. Just too bad.
Lucky that I didn't wake up just to watch the match, would be so disappointed and a waste of time anyways.

Ate lunch and got out for driving.
Ended at 3pm then headed back to Tampines, linked up with Chandan for his 11b before heading to Tmall to link up with Terry and Ren Wei for movie later on.
Walked around a little before having dinner at Pastamania at around 6pm to enjoy the 1 free regular pizza every 2 pasta promotion for NSmen.

Had 4 pasta and 2 pizza for the 3 of us, when they were just having lunch when I met up with them at 4plus.
Finally bought the movie tickets after that and realizing that the half-priced tickets have all been redeemed, we had no choice but to buy them at normal price zzzZ.

Chandan came soon after and we all went in to watch Badges of Fury.
Knew that it would be a lame/lousy show but still watched it anyways since the only other possible alternative is The Heat, which doesn't really appeal to me anyways.
And we so seldom watch Chinese movies in the theatres too.
So many Chinese movies that I would've wanted to watch otherwise, if not for the lack of company.
I shall really just go for movies alone though, if I deem it worthy enough for me to watch in the cinema instead of on the computer or on TV, even if no one is there to accompany me.

So that pretty much sums up the last one week of my life, as well as of the end to the first half of 2013.
Heading into the second half, all I can hope for is for everything to go really really smoothly.
Just six months left with 2013 and very soon it will be a whole new year again.
If there are things you wish to accomplish in the year of 2013, I guess this is a good time to review them, see how far you've come, how many goals have you completed, and most importantly, what do you have to do to tick the rest of them off your list.

Byeall.
